Considering the area where this small shop is located, it is not surprising that it specializes in Bluegrass instruments. However, with the consolidated school for children in all of southwest Barry County just 1/4 mile away, you can bet that they also handle orders for all kinds of band instruments. There's even an old, small hammered dulcimer hanging over the door. The walls are lined with old record jackets (yes, records!) cut by local bands, such as the Black Mountain Boys.
The store has its own web site (see variables). The staff is real friendly. A Bible sits on the counter so that the owner can read it during breaks. Very often, though, the family is busy working on repairing instruments that have been brought in. If they don't have it here, they can order it for you.
