When the Strekov precinct municipal hall of Ústí nad Labem started revitalisation of Malé Sedlo Hill in 2003, the tourist outlook tower under the working name "Strekovský Petrín" was included in the project.

Kamenná rozhledna s drevenými prvky byla postavena v rámci projektu revitalizace vrchu Malé Sedlo. S výstavbou se zacalo v roce 2009 v míste bývalé letecké pozorovatelny a slavnostne byla otevrena v kvetnu 2010. Za výhledem na Krušné hory nebo Labské vrchy je treba vystoupat po 47 schodech do výšky 7 metru.
