The Dome has been built 1736-1774. It is the biggest baroque church in Southeastern Europe.
It is located at the 'Piata Unirii', a plaza in the center of Timisoara.
The floor plan of the cathedral is in the form of a double cross. It is 55 meters long, 22 meters wide and has the inside height of 16.90 meters. The towers are 35.50 meters high. The style is Vienna Baroque.
The German version of the wikipedia entry is much longer than the short English one.
