The Greys River Ranger District is located on the west side of the Bridger-Teton National Forest, in the Salt River Range and Wyoming Range in western Wyoming. This area is just south of the Snake River and east of the Salt River and Starr Valley in extreme western Wyoming. The District touches the eastern end of Palisades Reservoir.
