Graveyard Fields, named for the tree stumps left after a storm and fire, is located about an hour south of Asheville, NC on the Blue Ridge Parkway. The stumps are long overgrown but the mountain views remain and are worth the drive. The only sign is that for the trailhead. The 3.2 mile loop trail follows the Yellowstone Prong of the Pigeon River to stunning waterfalls.
