"The spirit of the peace pole has already started to spread. At a ceremony on September 21, 2010, the School Sisters of St. Francis at the St. Joseph Convent, Campbellsport, dedicated their own peace pole. It was constructed by one of their staff members, and "May Peace Prevail on Earth" in eight languages, representing the various ministries of the School Sisters of St. Francis over the last 136 years. The languages represented are American Sign Language, Chinese, English, German, Lakota (Sioux), Malayalam (an East Indian language), Slovak and Spanish."
The inscription on the pole reads:
"International Peace Site
Dedicated to the promotion of
a Just and Peaceful world
September 21, 2010"

We came from the north after an event in Oshkosh. A bridge was out so we had to make several detours to finally get to Campbellsport. The convent sits atop a hill over looking the town.
