A local farmer, who apparently lives in town, parks his tractors alongside the highway for everyone to admire when they aren't actually out in the field earning their keep. All of the tractors, most dating back to the 1950s or earlier, show signs of being well maintained and the effects of recent use.
The John Deere Model 4020 was one of what was termed the "New Generation Series". Over 180,000 of this model were built between 1963 and 1972 in two different configurations with four different engines burning three different types of fuel. This tractor is equipped with a Model 158 hydraulic front loader and the paint job looks almost as fresh as it did when it first rolled onto the farm.
Engine Type: Internal Combustion
Wheel Type: Rubber
Make: John Deere
