During the industrial revolution Bradford expanded rapidly with many mills involved in the textile industry especially wool. Indeed there were so many mills and warehouses that Bradford became known as the wool capital of the world.

The relief stone carving over the entrance to this ex mill reflects this heritage and shows a Merino sheep with golden horn.

The sheep is portrayed standing in a rural scene surrounded by vegetation.

Above the sheep is carved the name 'Woolstone Warehouses'.
