Belchite is sadly famous for being a town which was destroyed during the Spanish Civil War and was kept like that: destroyed. Later, a new Belchite was built, near the Old Belchite.

It's in the new town that this petrosomatoglyph can be seen. A mark of a sports show on the concrete of the boardwalk.
