Victoria Butterfly Gardens has been in operation since 1994 and is one of the largest conservatories in Canada. They have more than 3000 free-flying butterflies of up to 75 species, as well as many exotic birds, tropical plants including over 200 species of orchids, and koi in their 12,000-square-foot, climate controlled environment. Victoria Butterfly Gardens was awarded the 2013 Certificate of Excellence by TripAdvisor for having consistently high ratings by reviewers.
