GR30 Linhas de Torres - Vila Franca de Xira - Long Distance Hiking Trails on Waymarking.com

This long route, called "Linhas de Torres" is a circular route and is located near Lisbon.
It passes by many of the Forts and historic sites that once prevented Lisbon to be taken by the French when the 3rd invasion occured.
There were serveral "lines" of forts built, in case one line was overtaken and crossed, the next one would have to stop them. And it worked! :)
So, the route passes by the 1st line, from Tagos River near Lisbon to the Ocean in the other end, and them south until the 2nd line and back to Lisbon.
With the connections and the detours to reach the forts, it should have around 200km.
