In Framingham, along Mass. Route 30, is and REI store with a climbing wall at the front of the store.
The REI store is located on the eastbound side of Mass Route 30 - also known as Cochituate Street - about a half mile southwest of the interchange with I-90/Mass. Turnpike, and near an entrance to Shopper's World.
The climbing wall is at the front of the store. It is two stories tall in a single column plus a side of a wall to the left.
At the time of visit, the wall was closed. There was a schedule posted for September 2013 at the time. There are specific days that the wall is available, though hours were not known.
The store also offers classes on climbing. It is free to members of REI, and $10 for non-members - see the store's web page for offerings.
