The foundation stone of this building was laid on September 10th 1900 and is in between some windows on the ground floor of the building, near to the entrance.
Originally constructed as Colne Municipal Hall it was renovated in 1996 and is now a theatre with the name Muni, inspired by its original use.
There is also a stone carving of the Colne coat of arms over the entrance to the building with the date of 1900 underneath it.
