The Zion Methodist Church was built in 1891. The church was formed by German settlers in the area. The red brick church is in a Gothic Revival style.
On the west side of the church is a cemetery with many of the early gravestones inscribed in German. The active cemetery has about 200 grave stones.
The church and the cemetery are well maintained.
