This Bell is mounted on a short pole as an Historical Monument in front of the Bedford Ward meetinghouse located on the southeast corner of the intersection of County Roads 122 and 196, across the street from the post office in Bedford, Wyoming.

The plaque on the monument reads:

The Bedford Ward was organized on 19 November 1895.

In 1897 the first Bedford church was constructed in 17 days by ward members.

Shortly after the church was built the bell was installed and could be heard ringing throughout all of Bedford.
