Located in the Camden Cemetery, this monument to the Wilcox County confederate war dead, was erected in 1880.

Built in 1880, there are three blocks of Alabama granite at
the base. Resting on this is a square shaft of the same stone
surmounted by a figure of a Confederate Soldier resting " At
arms." On the center of the shaft is the Coat of Arms of the
State of Alabama. The cost for the monument was $1,064
and 22 years later a steel and wire fence was put around the
memorial at a cost of $230.
