DESCRIBED BY COAST AND GEODETIC SURVEY 1948 (RLE) THE STATION IS LOCATED ABOUT 0.2 MILE NORTHEAST OF THE COURT HOUSE AT THE CENTER OF TOWN, ABOUT 150 FEET NORTH OF THE DEPOT, 100 FEET WEST OF THE MAIN TRACK OF THE FRISCO RAILROAD AND 50 FEET SOUTH OF AN EAST-WEST STREET. IT IS AN ELEVATED TANK SUPPORTED BY A 6 LEGGED STEEL STRUCTURE. IT HAS AN OVERALL HEIGHT OF ABOUT 140 FEET. A BALL AT CENTER AND ON TOP OF THE TANK WAS OBSERVED.
