The Dadeville Fire Department has an ISO class 5/9 rating and the protection area covers approximately 41 square miles. It serves a population of about 3800 people, within a mile and a half of the city limits, and 5700 year round residents. Also covers a large portion of the east side of Lake Martin that is outside the city limits which does not count for population served but this fire department provides protection nonetheless.
