9/11 Memorial - North Egremont, MA - 9/11 Memorial Sites on Waymarking.com

The citizens of North Egremont chose to place their 9/11 memorial next to an existing Revolutionary War monument. At ground level at the base of the monument there is a 3' square bronze plaque dedicated to the victims of the attacks of September 11, 2001. The plaque has a relief image of an eagle with spread wings standing on a fasces. It contains the following inscribed:

THIS MONUMENT IS EDICATED TO THE
THOUSANDS OF INNOCENT AND BRAVE
MEN, WOMEN AND CHILDREN
KILLED BY TERRORIST ATTACKS
IN NEW YORK CITY, WASHINGTON D.C.
AND PENNSYLVANIA
ON SEPTEMBER 11, 2001. THEY DIED FOR OUR COUNTRY
AND OUR FREEDOM
WE SHALL NEVER FORGET.
