The sign for this ranch caught my eye as I was driving past. Llamas for coyote control? I was surprised to discover that llamas are very aggressive in protecting themselves and their turf from predators. Apparently they are mean enough to scare off just about anything that might want to attack or eat them. There is a significant-sized herd of llamas visible from the highway and I also spotted a couple of mule deer nearby. I wonder how llamas and deer get along together.
