The is a small Greek Revival building, designed as a store. It was built around 1820. It was moved to its current location around 1880 and attached to the J Howe Lyman Gould House which is also a contributing property to the Wendell Town Common.
Henry Atkinson Green was the son of Judge Joshua Green was about 28 years old when he opened a store in this building, which was adjacent to his parents house on Morse Village Road. He moved to New York City seeking better commercial activities. The building remained on its original site until after Joshua Green's estate was settled. It was then moved and attached to the Summit House where it is today. The Summit House is the J Howe Lyman Gould House.
