The Wendell Center Cemetery orginated with the Congregational Church. There is a Victorian cast iron fence with a carriage gate and pedestrian gate along the Common. The land for the cemetery was purchased from Jonathan Osgood. The major head stone carver was Isaiah C Soule. The earliest recorded internment is 1782. The cemetery is still in use.
