The Central Congregation Church is a large barnlike building in Greek Revival style. The gable end which faces Morse Village Road, is symmetrical with paired entrances on either side with a window between them. There are 3 windows above the doors. The is a square base for a bell tower that is capped with a hipped roof.
The congregation was established in 1774, however it was not until 1846 that this building was erected. The Baptist Church that faced the Congregational Church was built one year earlier and in the same Greek Revival style. At one time the tower supported a large steeple, which was removed in 1923.
