An Oregon central coast beach with amazing tidepools
Waymark Code: WMHWCB

The beach at Strawberry Hill is located at one of four turnoffs from the Pacific Coast Highway 101 within Neptune State Scenic Viewpoint. The GPS coordinates for this waymark were taken from the point where visitors to the turnoff can begin the walk/climb down to the beach.
The beach here is primarily rocky but does contain some small sandy areas. Compared to most Oregon beaches, the trail to the beach is fairly difficult, requiring careful attention to your footing as the way is steep and a bit rocky in places.
The most notable features here are the tidepools and wildlife viewing opportunities. At times, harbor seals can be spotted sunning themselves in the rocks offshore. The tidepools are a great place to see many varieties of wildlife including crabs, mussels, sea stars, sea urchins, anemone, barnacles and snails.
