The eighteenth century Georgian gothic church of St Mary's is beautifully situated on a hill overlooking Stanford, with wonderful views of the Teme valley. In spring there are drifts of daffodils in the churchyard. Inside are a splendid monument, interesting memorial tablets and striking stained glass windows. Come and enjoy the peaceful and prayerful atmosphere and beautiful surroundings.

Parish church. 1768-9 by James Rose on new site; restored 1894. Ashlar
with partly hipped slate roofs behind embattled parapets. West tower,
two-bay nave, transepts and short chancel.
