A wooden free pantry box sits at the southeast corner of Sunnyside Diner, next to the parking lot. The structure is about 5' tall with four deep shelves to hold pantry items and double doors that open at the center. The roof is slanted to keep the rain from sitting on the wood and water getting inside. On the day of our visit, there were numerous snack items (placed in a bin), canned vegetables, and pasta. This is one of our favorite places to donate food since it's conveniently located near a busy intersection in Edmond.
This food pantry was originally placed at the Bradford Assisted Living Center in May 2018, next to a Little Free Library, but sometime in 2019 it was moved to its current location.
