This mural was designed and painted by Casey McEneny as part of Waldport's centennial celebration. The mural measures 10' by 48' and is painted on wooden panels which were then attached to the south side of a medical clinic wall, in downtown Waldport. The artist worked on the mural in a space under the Bleacher Building at Waldport High School until it was later moved and assembled. The mural is said to depict "the earliest indigenous people of the left side, moving rightward toward a modern day tribal woman in ceremonial dress" (Casey McEneny). Mr. McEneny is an art teacher at Newport High School, located about 17 miles north of Waldport.
