"The 81st Avenue Library opened on January 29th, 2011, after years of collaboration between the City of Oakland, the State of California, and Oakland Unified School District. Located on the site of ACORD Woodland and EnCompass Academy elementary schools, the 81st Avenue Library serves as a joint public/school library.
The collection contains over 30,000 items in English and Spanish languages, serving both the general public and nearby schools. The branch has 20 PCs for public use with Internet access and Microsoft Office 2007." (
