The pond is located inside a triangle formed by Highway 3, an entrance and an exit just east of where it passes over highway 22 heading east. The pond contains a fountain and sculpture of two eagles, one perched on a tree and the other landing.
Beside the pond are sculptures of six children playing in the water. Both sculptures are exceedingly well done, very lifelike. The Rotary marker is inscribed in a rock at the side of the pond, declaring the Rotary Club's fiftieth year of service in Castlegar.
