A replica of The Little Vintner of Colmar sculpture created by Frederic Auguste Bartholdi in 1869, and cast at the Bronzes Strassacker is located by Princeton Borough Hall.
A 5' by 2' by 2' bronze figure of a boy rests on a 1.5' by 2' by 2' bronze base. A barefoot boy is wearing a shirt and pants rolled up to below the knees. He is sitting on a tree stump with his legs crossed, right over left. He is holding an inverted jug above his head with both hands. Water flows out of the jug and into his mouth, down the front of his body, and recaptured in a circular basin below. A small dog sits by his left side.
A plaque on the front of the base has a circular founders mark of a man pouring metal from a ladle beneath is the word FRANCE. The plaque is inscribed:
