Raised bog with sundews, mostly Drosera rotundifolia. This is in a part known as the "Portland bog" because peat was dug here for the Portland cement factory.

For the preservation of this locality, collection is prohibited. The entire Lille Vildmose raised bog is one of the largest raised bogs in northwestern europe (excl. the Scandinavian peninsula and Finland). Sundews proliferate but in this location they are also easy to get at, just park and walk 200m; this northernmost area of the Portland bog is also relatively dry and hence not (or at least less) dangerous - but take care; raised bogs are notorious.
