This section corner is located about 200 feet southeast of Road 21 through Newberry Caldera about 0.45 miles east of the Big Obsidian Flow junction. The location is marked by steel post with sign and two bearing trees. The cap is set about 4” above ground surface. The cap was set for the Forest Service by PLS 1898 in 1980. The cap is marked T 21 S, R 12-13 E, 1/4 Cor 36 & 31.
