This large bell is on the grounds of the St. Nicholai Church...a church in ruins which now serve as a Peace Memorial.

This bell is probably intended to enhance this site as a Peace or War Memorial. It is about 8 feet tall and the accompanying placard in German seems to just indicate the Polish groups that donated the bell and reads:
