The final resting place of Evelyn Borah is at the east side of Fairlawn Cemetery, at the center of the section. Hers is a very large, upright family monument with three names at the bottom.

1959:The Dalai Lama is granted asylum in India.
1969: Tinker v. Des Moines Independent Community School District: The U.S. Supreme Court rules that the First Amendment applies to public schools.
