This patriot quilt block faces Highway 240, southeast of Fayette. It is shown on the Missouri Barn Quilts List as No. MO-45-01.

This barn quilt is on the farm of Bill and Martha Holman. They chose this pattern because it was in one of Martha's grandmother's quilts. There are several patterns named "Electric Fan" but this is unique, constructed of four blocks, each consisting of four triangles, points together, two with a blue star field and two with red and white stripes.

The brick barn is located on Highway 240, 3.7 miles south of the junction of Highway 124,on the southeast side of Fayette. The barn is on the east side of the road.
