The Church of Saint-Roch is a late Baroque style church built between 1653 and 1740. In 1521, this was the site of a chapel dedicated to Saint Susanna. In 1577,it was extended into a larger church. It became a parish in 1629. The construction of saint-Roche began when King Loius XIV placed the first stone in 1653. The first designer was Jacques Lemercier. The building's construction was halted in 1660 and when it resumed in 1701 Jacques Hardouin-Mansart was the new architect. The church was finished in 1754.

Plaque give the history of the church and recounts Napoleon's battle with Royalist on the steps of the church on October 5, 1795.
