Johan Vilhelm Snellman (12 May 1806, Stockholm, Sweden – 4 July 1881, Kirkkonummi, Finland) was an influential Fennoman philosopher and Finnish statesman, ennobled in 1866.

This bronze statue was made 1884/1896 by Johannes Takanen. The statue is located in the park of Snellman. Hight of the satue is 120 cm + stand is 240 cm.
