The Missouri Veterans Cemetery at Bloomfield had its first interment in 2003. and currently has a few thousand graves. The cemetery is on 65 acres donated by Stoddard County for the cemetery. It has space for about 27,000 grave sites. The cemetery has a committal shelter with two columbarium walls attached which contain 800 niches for the interment of cremains if desired.
