The objectives of this club are to create sportsmanship, craftsmanship and fellowship. To encourage participation in the sport of radio controlled model aviation. Other objectives are to provide the opportunity for the upgrading of construction and flying skills by experimentation, competition and education.
The Tucson Radio Control Club (TRCC) is sanctioned by the national organization of the Academy of Model Aeronautics (AMA) (http://www.modelaircraft.org/) .
TRCC is an AMA Gold Leader Club, # 112 in District X (10) (http://www.ama10.org/dx2/Site_Name/Welcome.html).
The Tucson Radio Control Club was founded in 1964 and has approximately 150 members.
