This is one of two UR Here Maps outside the visitor centre in Kokanee Creek Provincial Park, which is about 11 km. west of Balfour, on Kootenay Lake.

This is a very popular Provincial Park, open from May 1 to September 30 every year. The park has three separate campgrounds: Redfish with 19 campsites, Sandspit with 112 and Friends with 38. 257 hectares in size, it has extensive sandy beaches as it is situated along the north side of the West Arm of Kootenay Lake. It is a very popular spot for boating as well as fishing.

Activities available include: Canoeing, Cycling, Fishing, Hiking, Swimming, Water Skiing, Wildlife Viewing, Interpretive Programs, Wind Surfing and Winter Recreation.
