Junaluska Cross - Lake Junaluska, NC - Christian Crosses on Waymarking.com

The original cross was erected in 1922 at the present location. Year of weathering finally took its toll, so a replacement was put in its place in 1994. The subsequent 25 foot high cross featured an outline of 200 lights, thus the cross can be seen day or night from almost anywhere on the retreat grounds.
