This abstract sculpture is located on a small hill in the east of Merian Park in Münchenstein. It is a thick, dark stone cross atop a thinner column made of a stone with a lighter color; the title of the sculpture is "Säule und Kreuz" (column and cross). It was created by Lorenz Balmer in 1976.
