Built in 1905-1906, the Victorian house was used both as an office and residence by Dr. Delos Dexter Hooper. It was subsequently used as law offices and library annex. It was slated to be torn down before a preservation effort in 2002 renovated the entire structure. It now houses the Jackson County Chamber of Commerce, Jackson County Travel & Tourism Authority, and the Heritage Gallery.
