This BM is on a bump/rock outcrop right beside the highway. It's on the west side and one can park on the north edge of it. With a witness sign on top of the bump it's exceedingly easy to find.
NRCAN:
Rock cut along highway no. 6, 8.4 km south of junction with highway no. 3a, 2.9 km north of junction with Whitewater ski road, tablet in top, opposite point on road 43.6 m southeast of centre of gravel road leading northeast, 8.7 m southwest of centre line of highway, 3.7 m southeast of northwest edge of rock, 2 m above highway level.
