The Florence Lake Fishing Pier was constructed in either 2009 or 2010. It's about 50m long and allows visitors to get out past the trees and wetland surrounding Florence Lake to get better views and access to the lake. The lake is stocked annually with trout, but the water lilies have begun to grow around the end of the pier, making fishing difficult.
