Shady Oaks is part of the Orangevale Rec and Park District.
It has parking for over 30 some vehicles, and is also accessed by a bicycle trail. It is an 18 hole course developed in 1982.

There are restrooms, practice areas, shaded picnic area (build by the club members), seasonal water hazards, and a pro shop. They sponsor an annual St Patricks tournament.
Lessons are available.
There is a Rocklin course; Lions club sponsored one at Incline Village
and there is one at Tahoe Vista (orange, red frisbees in the snow?)
Jim Oates is the owner of the disc golf shop and a former champion.
The first hole is 264 ft or 317 ft. Allow two hours. Lots of trees.
