The Australian Red Cross Blood Service operates the Casuarina Blood Donor Centre from a prominent position in a commercial retail area near the Casuarina Convenience Centre, the smaller of two shopping centres serving the northern suburbs of Darwin.

The centre is open for whole blood collection and plasma collection Monday to Friday as well as the first Saturday in the month. Hours are:

The centre also operates two Mobile Donor Centres for whole blood collection, one in central Darwin at Darwin Plaza - Red Cross College, Smith Street Mall, on the second Tuesday and Wednesday of the month; the other at Palmerston GP Super Clinic, 3 Gurd Street Farrar, on the third Tuesday of the month.
