For the uninitiated, BOB is the Big Orange Bridge across the West Arm of Kootenay Lake. It borders the north end of the park.

This little gazebo is between the waterfront and the Centennial Pathway, built in 2007 to celebrate Nelson's Centennial. All wood, it's a hexagon with a somewhat unusual roof line, quite noticeable in the pix. It's a great stopping place along the pathway, whether it's shade, shelter or quiet contemplation one is in need of. Surrounded by benches, it also has a picnic table within for alfresco dining.

Here's more info on what the park has to offer.
