The City of Springville, Iowa is celebrating its 125th Anniversary and, as a part of the celebration, is having an "Adopt a Hydrant" event with many of the fire hydrants throughout the city painted.

The hydrant is located on the curve as you come off the highway and into town. At the time the photo was taken, it appeared as if there was going to be more 'improvements' at the base of the hydrant (flower or rock garden?)
