This G.P.S. Station is located at Boiler Bay State Wayside along U.S. Hwy. 101, about a mile north of Depoe Bay, Oregon. The cap is located about 300 feet northwest of the parking area, just inside the fence. The cap is set in bedrock 78.159 feet ESE of BALD RM 2 which is outside the fence.

DESCRIBED BY NATIONAL GEODETIC SURVEY 1991 THE STATION IS LOCATED ABOUT 10 KM (6.20 MI) SOUTH OF LINCOLN CITY, 1.3 KM (0.80 MI) (0.8 MI NORTH OF DEPOE BAY AND AT BOILER BAY WAYSIDE. THE STATION IS ON PROPERTY OF OREGON STATE DEPT. OF PARKS AND RECREATION. TO REACH FROM THE POST OFFICE IN DEPOE BAY GO NORTH ON US 101 FOR 0.98 KM (0.60 MI) TO THE SOUTH ENTRANCE OF THE BOILER BAY WAYSIDE. BEAR LEFT ON ROAD FOR 0.37 KM (0.20 MI) TO THE PARKING AREA ON THE LEFT. PACK NORTHWEST INSIDE PERIMETER FENCE FOR ABOUT 90 METERS (295.3 FT) TO END OF FENCE AND THE STATION.
